In this one-time class, learners will create a choice jar for a special lady in their life.

Class experience

The students will learn how to create a choice jar for an important lady in their life. They will create a label for the jar and will create choice cards. This activity will give your learner the opportunity to show kindness and to practice helping others.
I have taught in a school setting for the last eleven years. I have used this project each year with my students. Students love this project. They enjoy creating the jars and always enjoy doing the choices at home.
Homework Offered
If your learner does not finish the project in class, it will need to be finished outside of class. Your learner will also be doing the choices on the cards outside of class.
0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

I will supply a brainstorming handout for class. You will also need the following supplies: Small jar (You may use a small jar, a vase, a mason jar, etc.) Pencil Markers 6 Blank Index Cards (You can use white or colored index cards.) Tape (I use Scotch tape for this activity.) You can find all these materials at a local store. You will pay between $5 to $12.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
We are creating this project as a Mother's Day gift. This project does not necessarily need to be created for only mom. Your student is welcome to create the project for an important lady in his or her life.
