Class Experience
Mother's Day Card - 3D Flower Art and Craft! This virtual Arts and Crafts class for ages 7-10 will meet one time for thirty-five minutes. We will make a Mother's Day card with a spiral 3D flower and a sweet note. ♦🔶♦ Note: Please see the Supply List for the required supplies needed for this class. PREREQUISITES: ♦ Learners will need to have good scissor skills for this class. In this fun-filled art class, students will use scissors to cut out spiral shapes and make a Mother's Day card....
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn how to create a flower picture and make a card for Mother's Day. They will develop their creativity and eye-hand coordination. They will also practice finger dexterity and improve their scissor skills. They will interact socially with the teacher and other students.
There is no homework for this class, except to finish anything that wasn't finished in class. I would love for students to take a photo of their finished work and share it in the classroom.
~ I will provide a file that needs to be printed on white printer paper, size 8.5x11, prior to class. ~ A pencil. ~ A pair of safety scissors. ~School glue ~1 sheet of colored construction paper in each of the following colors. Green Yellow Pink (Light or Dark) Orange or Purple Crayons or colored pencils
35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
~Learners will be working with scissors. Adult supervision and approval is required for students to handle scissors in order to ensure the safety of each student. ~Please take appropriate precautionary measures regarding your child's participation. ~Adults and others who are supervising are asked to remain present, but off camera, during class.
