Let's draw a cute axolotl mom and baby for Mother's Day! Students can gift their drawing to their mom for Mother's Day or use it to make a card! :) This one-time drawing class is perfect for beginners who are not very confident in their drawing skills. Students will be given step-by-step instructions on how to draw an adorably cute (or as the Japanese say, "kawaii") mother and baby axolotl pair. I will be guiding them every step of the way at a slow pace to ensure everyone is comfortable and has enough time to complete their drawing. Please bring a pencil, paper, eraser, black marker or pen, and colour markers and/or pencil crayons. ***If you don’t see a suitable time, feel free to use the auto-scheduler (click “Show Alternative Times”) or message me to make a section that suits your schedule.*** I strive to provide a class environment that is fun, engaging, and a positive space! Hi there! Teacher Tirath here! Nice to (virtually) meet you! :)
I am so excited to be on Outschool to teach creative courses! I have 4+ years of teaching both English and math to students of all ages, and have been teaching English online for almost three years. I also have experience leading arts camps as well as working with children on film sets. I am excited about this opportunity to be able to continue to open my classroom to students from all over the world!
In terms of my qualifications, I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Film Production. My specializations were screenwriting, directing, editing and sound. I have made a few short films of my own which have been shown at film festivals, and I also have done lots of editing work in the past few years. Needless to say, creativity is my passion!
I also have a Bachelors of Science, and love teaching classes that blend both science and the arts!
My teaching style is friendly, patient, and full of positivity. I believe that learning should be enjoyable, so I like to keep my classes engaging and full of fun! Also a positive learning environment is a must in my book!
When I’m not teaching or doing film work, I like to read books, draw, listen to music, and spend some time in nature, whether that be hiking, walking, or biking! I am a total tree hugger!
