We will be discussing seven different disgusting animals and the defense mechanisms they use against predators. The students will watch engaging videos of the animals using their gross strategies of protection. Students will also learn basic facts about each animal. Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Animal defense mechanisms in this lesson involve blood, vomit, and guts. Students will only be exposed to appropriate videos but the videos will show the animal defense mechanisms in action. So if your child does not like gross things... this is not the class for them. My personal seven-year-old experienced my lesson on this topic and he loved it. He was totally into the gross and unique ways the animals protected themselves and helped our world.
