Description
Class Experience
By the end of the course * students will be able to identify root words and the meaning of some common affixes, as well as understand how to utilize them to build and decode words.
I have a B.A. in Applied Linguistics and believe it is important to understand how words are formed and what each component of a word means. With the ability to break down words according to meaningful parts, students will have the ability to decode what they are reading to gain a better understanding.

No live meetings, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
Reading and writing skills are required, we will learn the rest! * I have designed the class at a base level, if students need it simplified or more challenging, I am happy to provide optional worksheets, discussions, and tools for them. The best learning environment is when teachers, parents, and students all work together!
