Class Experience

In this morning yoga, we will go through a simple yet fun yoga flow focusing on stretching and warming our bodies to start the day. This class is structured as a lead and follow yoga class: I will guide and demonstrate the poses as the learners follow. I will guide a short breathing meditation at the beginning and then we will go into the physical practice, the yoga flow and stretch. I allow for the learners to ask questions before and after class if they need, allowing for an open conversation. 
Week 1: yoga theme becoming mindful 
Week 2: yoga theme standing poses 
Week 3: yoga theme seated poses 
Week 4: yoga theme balance

This class will be a great way to start the day! It allows the learners to stretch their bodies and calm their minds before the rest of the day.

Parental Guidance
This is a physical fitness class, students must be able and willing to stretch and move their bodies. Students should be in a space they have room to move around, at least the size of their mat or towel. This is a beginner course, it will be easy and gentle movements offering many modifications.
Supply List
Learners will need:
Yoga mat, blanket, or towel to practice on.
Water bottle.
Comfortable clothes that allow them to move.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello! 
My name is Megan, I am a 200-HR certified yoga instructor and certified wellness champion. I teach yoga for ages 10 years and up! I got my certification with Breathe for Change where the focus is on teaching yoga as well as meditation and mindfulness to children. The type of yoga I teach is a vinyasa; focusing on the movements and connecting the breath with the movement. I also guide meditations and teach about mindfulness to calm the body and mind. 
I love teaching yoga and bringing the practice into other's lives; it is my passion and purpose in life. My goal is to bring a fun aspect into yoga, I am a goofy/fun teachers who loves interacting with others.
