Class Experience
This is a morning meeting read-a-loud of the book "The Trouble With Dragons" by Debi Gliori. I will be reading the book aloud for students to listen to as a good way to start the day. Students will need to be able to sit and listen to the book and at the end we can discuss our favorite part of the book as a whole group. Each child will get the chance to share their favorite part. Students will listen to a book on how we treat the earth and what we could do to make it better. CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.K.10 Actively engage in group reading activities with purpose and understanding. CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RI.K.2 With prompting and support, identify the main topic and retell key details of a text.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
