In this class students will learn how to get a good start to their day. We will start by greeting everyone in the group. Next I will ask how they are feeling based on 1 (ready to start), 2 (not quite ready to start but I'll get there) or 3 (I'm not having a great morning). They can either share their number or just hold it up on their fingers. Students may also share with the teacher and with each other something they would like us to know. We will go over the date and the day of the week. Finally I will share a positive message with the students and give them a chance to reflect on what that message means.
Learning Goals
Students will learn social cue and how to greet other people. They will learn to share their thinking and finally they will learn how to get themselves prepared for the day ahead.

Hi! My name is Ms. Jenn and I am so excited to be able to share my love of teaching and learning with all of you! I have been a teacher for the past 19 years. I am certified in grades kindergarten through sixth grade and have had experience teaching all of them. I have my masters degree in teaching and learning as well.
I absolutely love reading and want to instill that love of books with kids as well. There are so many exciting stories out there that are just waiting to be explored! I love teaching and learning about all subjects, there is always so much to learn. One of my favorite ways to teach is to play games and do experiments. I feel students learn the best when they can make the connections on their own.
I have a little guy of my own and he loves hockey! When I'm not in the classroom I can usually be found at the hockey rink! I can't wait inspire and learn from you!Reviews
