Class Experience

Still will retain the information gathered during the school year so as not to lose it during the summer.
I am a West Virginia certified teacher and have taught in the public school for ten years. I have been working with children for 17 years through public school, summer camps, after school programs, tutoring, daycare centers etc. I hold a M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction, a B.A. in Elementary Education and an A.A. degree. I was nominated teacher of the year at my school in 2020 and have participated in a large variety of professional development sessions and student improvement teams.
No homework is required but a reading challenge will be available for those who wish to participate. This challenge will be tailored to each learners reading level and will look different for each learner, therefore the number of pages and weekly reading needed to complete the challenge will vary based on learner ability.
