Class experience
Morning Meeting will give your learner a way to connect with other children their age! Learners will engage in student-led discussions, play games, and make friends in a safe environment. My hope is that the students in this class will get to know each other and feel comfortable enough to participate in discussions. I have a degree in elementary education. As a mother of five, I have been homeschooling for over 20 years.
Occasionally students will need a pencil and paper. I will notify you ahead of time. We will occasionally use Nearpod, Gimkit, and Kahoot. These games can be played either on the same device or a separate device.
We will be using Nearpod, Kahoot, and Gimkit to play general trivia games. I will provide a link in the chat box. When learners click on the link, a new window will pop up that takes them to the game. Learners are not required to create an account or enter any information other than their first name or a nickname.
