I ask that students keep their camera on for the majority of class. Please reach out ahead of time if this will not work for your child. Daily Routine: Each day students will start will greeting each other. We will have many different greeting types and learn to take turns and be polite. Then, we will move into sharing time. Students will practice taking turns, asking questions, answering questions and giving compliments. Students will learn to identify many emotions and be able to sort them by similar characteristics. Students will be able to identify how they are feeling and things that are influencing their emotions. Students will be able to list some appropriate ways to deal with their emotions and strategies to bring their emotions back down to their baseline. Students will be able to explain ways to know how other people are feeling based on their actions and body cues. Students will be able to discuss and interact with others who are feeling many types of emotions appropriately.

Students should have a piece of paper and coloring supplies for each class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
