Class Experience
We will enjoy a sing along circle time together! We will review today's date, and weather, practicing the life skill of weather appropriate attire. We will review the days of the week, months of the year, weather, seasons, and count the number of days in the month. We will use base ten models to show the number of the day in the month. Learners will interact constantly with me and one another, answering questions and singing along. We will review a letter and number of the week. We also...
Students will improve their recall of months, days, how to make a two-digit number using tens and ones, shapes, and new sight words through shared reading of poems.
I am certified in childhood and special education, as well as literacy.
White board, marker OR pencil, paper Base ten blocks or Unifix cubes are helpful, but not necessary
Participation
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
