More Minibeasts! Earthworms and Insects!
What's included
4 live meetings
2 hrs 40 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this four week class we will get to see different live "minibeasts" (ants, worms, etc.). We will watch how they move, observe their different physical characteristics, and talk about what they eat and where they live. We will learn about beneficial insects, composting, life cycles and food chains. Learners will be encouraged to share pictures, stories, and observations about the different creatures we study (or any other cool bugs they find) during "show and tell" each week. We will also be singing, drawing, dancing, and playing fun games to help retain what we are learning. I encourage questions, sharing, singing, and dancing during class and I try not to mute students ( please try to find your learner a place where there won't be too much background noise, if possible, because I really enjoy hearing what they have to say). Week 1: Earthworms Week 2: Ants Week 3: Bees and wasps Week 4: Crickets and grasshoppers
