This course builds on my course "Performing Magic with Household Items" and features all new tricks.
Class experience
We will begin with introductions and a short description of illusions and then we will learn four tricks together. Depending on class size, we may have time to learn a bonus trick. I will ensure that the learners make good use of their time in class. The learners will practice on, and help, each other. Before moving on to the next trick, each learner will have an opportunity to perform the trick just taught. We will be interacting with each other throughout the class. We will also discuss...
The children will be able to perform at least four new magic tricks that will, hopefully, amaze.
Need a plastic glass or cup, two playing cards, glue stick or glue (you will not be able to play with the cards again). Need 3 plastic cups (solid color) and a long sheet of aluminum foil. An EMPTY soft drink can with the tab and 2 quarter-sized coins. A few facial tissues. 3 different colored crayons or colored pencils. Q-tip (cotton swab) If we have time, you will need a deck of cards.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
