Beginner Level
**This is a continuation of the class "Logic Puzzles for Beginners". I recommend that students take that class first. It will provide the basics for solving logic puzzles. Students, with teacher guidance, will solve basic logic puzzles by using their reading comprehension skills, deductive reasoning, and the visual representation on a grid. In class, we will solve some basic logic puzzles together as a group. I will ask for volunteers to read each clue (no one is required to read to the group). We then will discuss each clue and how it relates to the items in the grid. We must use our reading and listening comprehension skills to determine what each clue means. By learning how to solve basic logic puzzles, students can then advance to more complex logic puzzles. It is a fun, life-long hobby. I'll add new puzzles each week. I have a relaxed, fun teaching style. We will work as a group but participants can observe if they are not comfortable participating in the discussion.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have a master's degree in School Psychology. I've worked as a School Psychologist with kids ages 3 - 18 in public and parochial schools for over 21 years. I've worked with students who struggle with learning and who have behavioral and mental health needs.
I've also been an online teacher for over four years, teaching English to students in China and other parts of the world. I'm familiar with the convenience and limitations of the online learning experience. I encourage discussion in my classroom.
If you have an idea for a class you'd like me to teach, please share it with me. I'm very excited to be working with Outschool!
