This class is designed as a continuation of Elementary Introduction to IEW Writing with Aesop's Fables. Using Aesop's fables, we will learn to outline, write from outlines, make story sequence charts and use pictures to write our own stories. We will learn some dress-ups for making our writing more interesting, as well as a few decorations and sentence openers. We have been using IEW in our homeschool for 5+ years and I am a true believer in the method. As a registered, certified instructor, I would like to help other children learn the joy and ease of writing using IEW.
Writing assignments will be given each week and can be received and turned in via google classroom.
Paper and writing utensils
There is a rubric checklist for each assignment.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
