Class Experience
In this class, students will paint a beautiful and mysterious night scene with an oversized super moon, while learning several watercolor techniques. Class begins with a brief overview discussion of our painting, and from there we will move into sketching and painting! Using a step by step approach, and a variety of techniques, students will learn how to create simple and dynamic painting, and how to use watercolor paint to its best advantage. This class is taught in English.
Learning goals include learning to work in layers, use a resist, and creat sharp edges and smooth blends.
-watercolor paper -watercolor paint -large, medium, and small round paint brushes -pencil and eraser -paper towel and water cup -masking tape -hair blowdryer
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
