Description
Class Experience
Students will learn about perspective/point of view in film/TV
As an avid binge-watcher and Marvel fan, I am very passionate about popular culture. While obtaining my degree, I studied pop culture analysis and have practiced this after graduating through Outschool for the past 2 years. I primarily focus on pop culture and film analysis in my course listings, and also run clubs and creative writing courses all based around a superhero theme. I also work for cbr (Comic Book Resources) in comic features. I have a minor in Human Development & Family Sciences which made me learn more about the development of humans and the intricacies of abuse, relationships, mental health, etc., and I have also taken multiple psychology classes. I am no stranger to anxiety. I personally enjoyed Moon Knight for its cinematic elements that show the point-of-view accurately when it comes to panicking.

50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
Moon Knight is TV-14 for fantasy violence. It also creates a discussion based on mental trauma since the main character has DID.
