Class Experience

The folding activity is part of the Practical Life Montessori curriculum for children age 3 to 6 years old. It teaches them the work habits and discipline needed for success in academics and in all areas of life. Folding also helps strengthen fine motor skills which are important for writing, and improve hand-eye coordination which is important for reading and sports. We will start folding towels and move to more challenging pieces of clothing. Shorts, shirts and socks. This is a very interactive class. No experience necessary.
