The Montessori Kindergarten class, is a year round full curriculum class that focus primarily on Language Arts, Mathematics and Science. The curriculum in this class are designed by a certified Montessori guide to align lessons to each students learning ability. Students will explore both hands-on and fun interactive activities. Below you can find the lesson highlights of this class. This class covers a full year curriculum for school year 2025-2026 LESSON HIGHLIGHTS • Montessori Language Arts-Phonetics/Sounds • Montessori Reading Series- CVC, Sights words • Handwriting proficiency D' Nealian and Cursive • Linear Counting/Numeration • Base Ten-Place Value • Basic Operations • Shapes & Measurements • Time and Money • Science & Nature • Zoology • Botany • Goals for Language Arts lessons: The student will develop a strong foundation in spoken and written language through a hands-on, phonetic, and sequential approach. The curriculum fosters a natural progression from oral language development to reading and writing by engaging children in multi-sensory activities that build phonemic awareness, letter recognition, and word decoding skills. • Goals for Math lessons: The student will develop a strong understanding of linear counting by accurately sequencing numbers, associating numerals with quantities, and counting with confidence, preparing them for more advanced mathematical concepts such as addition and skip counting. • Goals for Science lessons: Student will explore the diversity of animals and plants by observing their characteristics, life cycles, and roles in nature. Through hands-on experiences, they will classify animals, identify plant parts, and develop an appreciation for the interdependence of all living things, fostering curiosity, respect, and care for the natural world.

Parents can assist their child when unmuting if its necessary. There will be times that I have to mute a student with distracting noise level on the background. This is a standard Outschool policy.
