Montessori Full Curriculum Class For Beginner Preschool 3-5 Years Welcome Families! In this year round Montessori Preschool Full Curriculum class, every week is filled with hands-on and multi-sensory activities for young students. Every child's unique interests and abilities are embraced and celebrated. A kind of class where curiosity thrives, creativity flourishes, and lifelong learners are born! Perfect for children in preschool age and pre-kindergarten. In this class, the student will engage in a variety of hands-on and fine motor activities which is a strong precursor for pre-writing and pre-reading. Below are the important highlight, notes and class outlook for school year 2024-2025. This class is designed to be inclusive and welcoming to all learners, regardless of their learning abilities. I believe that every child has unique strengths, and I am committed to providing a supportive environment where all students can thrive and reach their full potential. Montessori key areas we will explore for the entire school year: • Practical Life • Sensorial • Language Arts • Math • Geography and Culture • Botany and Zoology • Arts and Literature • Grace & Courtesy (social skills) • Peace Weekly Lesson Outlook: • Monday: Thematic unit study/vocabulary enrichment/fine motor • Tuesday: Language/Handwriting/fine motor • Wednesday: Math/Handwriting/fine motor • Thursday: Practical Life/Arts/fine motor "The hands are the instruments of man’s intelligence." – Maria Montessori My Teaching Style: • As a Montessori guide/directress for almost 15 years, my teaching approach is rooted in fostering independence, curiosity, and a deep love of learning in each child. I create a carefully designed curriculum that encourages exploration through hands-on, sensory-rich activities to meet your child's developmental needs. Children are given age-appropriate activities, allowing them to learn at their own pace and follow their natural interests. •I act as a facilitator, gently guiding children while respecting their individuality and ability to self-direct their learning. Emphasis is placed on cultivating practical life skills, sensory development, language, math, and cultural studies through experiential learning. My goal is to nurture the whole child—cognitively, emotionally, socially, and physically—promoting concentration, self-discipline, and confidence. This child-centered approach encourages active engagement, discovery, and a lifelong love for learning. IMPORTANT: • Montessori approach is a highly "Hands-on" method of learning. We use many tools such as Play-doh, scissors, kinetic sand, sand tray, water, brushes, paints, clothespin, and other materials to support young children's multi-sensory learning capacity. There may be days of the week that the activity tend to be messy. Without this helpful tools, your child will missed the engaging way to learn. So please make sure you have this on hand and ready if you enroll your child to my class. • Language Arts: We will use "Sand Paper letters-lowercase" and "Moveable Alphabets" for phonics/letter recognition/CVC. If its not available, the learner can use a sand tray to write the letters. Otherwise, contact me so I can provide you a link to this materials. • Equipment: Most of the time, the learner will need to tilt the camera for me to see their work and so I can give feedback specifically with math and language sessions. • Feedback: I observe my learners most of the time and I am happy to guide them to some areas they need practice and improvement example: proper use of scissors and holding a pencil. • Please reach out to me if you like to learn more about this method of education.
