In this multi day class, your student will have the opportunity to learn about the many layers of the soil and deepen their understanding through a variety of engaging activities. Before instruction begins, we’ll take a few minutes to do introductions, a brief icebreaker and review some simple class rules. Then the fun begins! Students will improve their understanding of the various layers of the soil through a series of stimulating, student centered activities.
Homework Offered
Projects will be started in class together, but can be completed independently outside of the meeting.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Teacher observations along with occasional questions will serve as formative assessment during this class.Grades Offered

The canva presentation tool will be used for display purposes in the class, and an account is not required for families or learners. I will only be using this resource in a screen share capacity. Parental guidance is recommended for use of scissors when cutting paper for the layers of the soil model.
