Description
Class Experience
Montessori activities focus on concentration, coordination and the fine motor skills to prepare for early reading and writing.
I am a certified Montessori teacher who loves working with young children.
There is no homework for this class but students are encourage to continue these activities at home well after class has ended.
For this class, you will need a 6’ straight line either made with tape, ribbon or available in the home (i.e the border of a run or a line of tile). Additionally, you will need 2 small bowls, a teaspoon and either a cup of dried rice, dried beans, small dry pasta or cereal.
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Depending on the child, a parent can assist in guiding them through the activities though it is not necessary.
