In this one-on-one tutoring class, student will work on reading, writing and/or math skills to increase vocabulary/spelling, fluency, comprehension, and/or equating numbers problems (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

In this Montessori class, students will receive one on one, personalized tutoring/guidance designed specifically for them by a certified Montessori teacher. Engaging, fun, and interactive lessons will be created specifically for your learner based on their needs in reading, writing, or math. Please contact me to discuss your child's goals, interests, and times that fit your family’s schedule. I am a certified Montessori teacher and member of American Montessori Society. I have worked in CA, MA and MI Montessori schools. I have been teaching on Outschool since September of 2020. Reading Tutoring: Phonics, Basic Encoding and Decoding, Digraphs, Trigraphs and Diphthongs, Guided Reading, Story Build and Writing, Grammar, Reading Comprehension Math Tutoring: Number recognition, One to One Correspondence, Basic Addition, Basic Subtraction, Base Ten Math-Bank Game, Fractions, Multiplication and Division, Everyday Math

I received my Montessori training on the campus of the University of California- Irvine, and have had the pleasure of working with directors trained by Maria Montessori and her son, Mario Montessori while teaching in Newton, MA.
The Montessori teaching method teaches the whole child, learning through the senses-sight, sound and tactile specifically.
