Students will learn about the evolution of sharks. The topics covered will be as follows: 1: The Chimera-Shark split 2: Paleozoic sharks (Ordovician-Permian) 3: Mesozoic sharks (Triassic-Cretaceous) 4: Cenozoic sharks (Paleocene-Pleistocene) My class will be structured along the shark family tree chronologically. We will start with the earliest sharks and talk about the new branches that show up at different points. I will teach using a mixture of clips, videos, artworks and discussion and lectures. My teaching style can be described as interactive. Learners will get to interact with me through lectures and discussion. No required knowledge or experience needed. Just join if you like sharks.

Students will learn the abridged version of the 450 millon year journey of the shark family

Parental Guidance
This class will cover topics which include how these sharks hunt their prey, as well as videos of sharks hunting, which may showcase blood on occasion.
