Teacher expertise and credentials
Greetings!,
My name is Ms. Francis. I typically teach general education classes for elementary schools, but is well rounded in also teaching middle and high. It can range from reading comprehension to reading aloud to art, drawing, teaching dance, cooking, writing and math. I am currently in school as a junior getting my bachelor’s degree in elementary education and is certified to teach esl. I’ve always worked with elementary students since I was about 16 years old working as a mentor going to the school once or twice a week and assist children with their home or class work as well as talking to them about social life skills. The values behind me teaching is that knowledge is power. No can take away your knowledge of knowing from your intelligence and personal experiences. Everyone wants to learn they just have a different way of learning and it’s up to the teacher to teach in that style so everyone can learn and figure out what they’re good at and what they need to improve on. Something fun about me is that I can do some cartoon impressions, draw, juggle, and even dance!
My learning style is visual, however I am well rounded in aural, read/write, and kinesthetic.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me! It’s been a pleasure!
- Ms. Francis 🤍
