In this engaging one-time class, we will take a virtual field trip into the jungle while learning life science reptile facts typically taught in a Kindergarten curriculum. We will have open discussions about different types of reptiles, where they live, which habitats they prefer, what they eat, their life-cycle, how they regulate body temperature, what they use their scales for and much more! Students will practice identifying different types of reptiles. Students will practice sorting animals by their characteristics. Students will identify differences between reptiles. Students will identify life cycle stages of a reptile. Students will practice taking turns and being respectful of their peers. Students will practice communicating effectively. Students will practice creativity and self-expression. Students will have fun while learning!
Learners are welcome to print and play the extension activities provided to practice their English, math, social studies, and fine motor skills.
