Students will build a simple ramp before class using any available materials.Class Experience
US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
Is your child a fan of Monster Jam or Blaze and the Monster Machines? Then this is the class for them! In this class, learners will become scientists and engineers while playing with their monster trucks! The goal is to apply STEM skills while having fun. Each student will be given “homework” to create a ramp for their monster truck using whatever materials they have available at home. After a brief show and tell with their favorite monster truck, each child will test the travel of their monster trucks on a ramp they have built and designed themselves. Then, we will modify ramps to predict and observe any changes in motion!
Learning Goals
Students will learn how changing the incline of a ramp will impact the speed and distance their monster truck will travel. They will apply the engineering design process to alter their ramp to increase travel distance.

Supply List
