If you love monsters, then this is the class for you! We will read "How to Catch a Monster" and then create a monster crown together. Students will get a chance to share their crown at the end of the class.

Your monster lover will enjoy this class. We will start with the teacher reading How to Catch A Monster to the students. The teacher will ask questions and engage the students in the reading. After we finish the book, we will start our monster crown craft. The teacher will give students time to decorate their crown while chatting about monsters! Students will finish the class by sharing their monsters crown with the class! (Parents can help cut and assemble the crown during or after class.) I...

Students will participate in answering questions throughout the story as well as use their skills in listening and following directions to complete their monster crown.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
*All conversations about monsters will be positive and age appropriate. We will not be discussing monsters being scary.* Parental guidance is suggested when using scissors to cut out the crown.
