Class Experience

Calling all puzzle-loving kids! Join the monsters from Beast Academy as we tackle some challenging math puzzles together. We will be reading a comic-book style text where the monsters show strategies to understand place value and addition. We will then work together to solve different math puzzles each week. If your child has a solid grasp of basic addition and subtraction and also loves sudoku-style puzzles and brain teasers, they will love this class! This class best fits students working...

Each week a link will be posted for the puzzles that will be used in class. If possible, please print a copy for your student to have available in class. If a printer is not available, blank paper and pencil can also be used.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

45 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
