This class will focus on the complementary colors. We will look at the color wheel and learn the complementary color pairs. We will do a directed drawing with the four monsters. The learners will also be encouraged to create their own monsters! Then we will use watercolor paints to make our monsters complementary! This is such a fun art project! We will also discuss warm and cool colors and how they make us feel. Students will have opportunities to interact with the other students and have an art show with each other!

Hi! My name is Jana Glosson and my passion is teaching children! I have a Bachelors degree from the University of Texas and am certified to teach EC-6 in Texas. I have over 5 years experience teaching in public and private schools, teaching all ages from Early Childhood through 6th grade. I also have 2 years of online teaching experience. I enjoy scrapbooking, painting, sewing, quilting, cross stitching, card-making, mixed media and most of all, teaching! Before getting my teaching certification, I owned a scrapbooking store in Texas and created and taught hundreds of fun and creative classes. I love building confidence in learners and watching them express their creativity! I look forward to meeting your leaner!
I believe that Art is a wonderful way to express your feelings and thoughts. Being creative is a great outlet for learners of all ages. I love helping others find their creative voice and learn new things.
