Description

Class Experience

Students will understand some of the basics of budgeting and money management. They will create a budge for their current situation that is usable beyond the class.
I have owned multiple businesses, and learned through life experience how to be wise with money. I believe certain mindsets and skills should be taught at a young age, and throughout a student’s informative years, to best enable them for future success. My own daughter has applied these concepts to earn her own money and support her own ventures. My personal experience involves starting businesses, bankruptcy, and debt free living.
Each week students will be given an assignment to apply and extend on the theme we will be discussing each week. Assignments may be worksheets, such as, but not limited to:
-Income brainstorming.
-Cost analysis.
-Budget worksheets.
-Savings calculator.
Calculator Handouts will be given for an assignment each week Optional - spreadsheet program (Excel, Numbers, Google Sheets, etc.)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
