Class Experience

In this one time introduction about money students will learn, "What is money, how do you get it, and what do you use it for?"

What is money, why do we have it, how do we use it, and how do we get it?
Basic money math.
Concept of bartering.
Difference between goods and services.

I will teach using slide presentation, video and discussion for question and answer sessions.

Students will learn the names of the United States currency and the values for each.

I am a state licensed teacher for grades PreK - 12th grade.  I love teaching financial literacy to students, because it is a skill that will impact the rest of their lives.

Students will receive a piggy bank coloring sheet upon enrollment for our class activity. Colors or Markers

No assessment will be given unless parents request.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

In addition to Outschool classroom, students will use Nearpod for interactive lesson.
