Critical Building Blocks to Wealth

Description
In this Money Skills course, students will complete eight modules covering the following financial topics: Credit Cards and Interest, Building Credit and Credit Scores, Budgeting, Saving, Investing, Retirement, and Real Estate.  Each module will include some video lecture, animated video clips, slides, virtual class discussion, and additional activity components or games to cater to all learning styles. Expectations and Goals
Upon completion of this course, students will build a solid foundation in intermediate financial literacy and cultivate an increased interest in money concepts that will prepare them for their financial lives as young adults.

Homework will be done individually and should take no more than 1 hour per week.  Reading: students will read 5-10 pages per week.

Required Materials
•	A calculator
•	Money Skills Budget Template (provided)
•	A laptop/computer for the student to view course material and complete assignments

No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
