Class experience
US Grade 5 - 7
This class is taught by a Certified Financial Planner Professional who guides learners with a crash course in financial literacy. We'll be following our 12-yr old friend "Kai" on a money earning, saving, and spending journey! Learners can join at any time as each class has continual review as well as newly introduced concepts. Understanding financial concepts and how to look at money management as a necessary life skill
As a Canadian CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional, "Mrs. Alyx" (Alexandra (Alyx) Valdal) is passionate about financial literacy for the next generation! Teaching kids about money is so important for establishing good habits and understanding that money is just a tool to be used. Mrs. Alyx has lived and taught different subjects in Canada, England, and Japan. She has taught learners from age 2 to 72 from preschool to college courses and loves engaging with excited students. In her Outschool classes, Mrs. Alyx helps learners reflect on their own money values through talking about needs and wants and how money can work in our lives, now and in the future.
