I will show you how to budget your money so you have more of it left at the end of the month. Whether you earn money at a job, get an allowance or save up birthday money from relatives I will show you how to make that money work for you. This 4 week course will cover topics such as, Defining Your Budget, Knowing Your Needs and Wants, Allocating Your Funds and Maintaining Your Budget. I will assign weekly homework after the class which will take approximately 60 minutes to complete. We will go...
Students will improve their knowledge of personal finance by creating a budget. We will go over their needs and wants and how they can save money and have extra to spend on the things they want. It's not too early to start learning how to make your money work for you. I will show the students how to take control of their money by showing them how to create a plan and stick to it.
There will be weekly homework assignments like creating a budget, writing down what you spend your money on, keeping a spending log and more but each assignment shouldn't take more than an hour.
I will provide handouts each week of class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
