Description
Class Experience
Claude Monet's Water Lilies paintings have always been a favorite. In this one-time class learners will enjoy creating a mixed media picture in the style of Monet's Water Lilies and Japanese Bridge. After introductions, we will go over how to take turns in the ZOOM classroom. And the list of materials will be gone over to insure everyone is prepared. First we will discuss what a 'mixed media' picture is. Then the artist Claude Monet will be introduced. We will talk a little about...
To learn about mixed media To appreciate the artist and style To create art in the style of Monet To participate in discussions and sharing progress
I have been teaching children from ages birth to young teens for 30 years. My degree is in Studio Art and I'm certified in Early Childhood Education. I taught 3 year old preschool classes, first grade at international schools overseas, and I was a nanny for the same family for 22 years. My whole career has been centered on working with children and I have incorporated my passion for art throughout that whole time.
Please post a picture of the finished art work on the classroom page or in a review.
