Hi friends! Let's get moving on a Monday and dance together! We'll get a chance to introduce young dancers to a classroom setting of fun and work on: * Creative movement * Stretching our muscles * Basic Ballet terminology * Get moving and grooving to awesome tunes! * End with a fun, interactive game of freeze dance Learning about body and spacial awareness can absolutely be a fun venture with dance class. And who doesn't love to shake out the Monday wiggles with some dance moves? No experience is necessary. Let's have fun and move on Monday! Meet you on your dance floor! Please note that any zoom or technical issues may not be in my control. However, be sure to use your helpline and select "Cannot access the class" for any further assistance.
Learning Goals
Your little learner will be able to learn about a dance class setting and get stretching, learn Basic Ballet terminology, and move across the floor with dance steps.

Parental Guidance
Please note that parents should be aware that their learner(s) will need an open space to move freely, have proper foot attire listed below in the materials section, and have a water bottle if needed. Safety and caution are of utmost importance as we want to do our best to avoid any sort of injuries for our dancing friends!
Supply List
Please be sure to have learner wear comfy clothing that is moveable. Ideal footwear is socks or bare feet.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

My name is Miss Carly, and I would love to work with you! Majority of my classes will revolve around dance as I am a professional dancer, dance studio owner, and an emcee for a national dance competition. In other words, I REALLY LOVE DANCE!
I'm also a motivational speaker for a non-profit organization and will host classes on different subjects, including public speaking tips.
My goal as a teacher is to help my students build confidence and learn skills that go beyond the dance floor. I'm so excited to share my passion for dance and positivity with my new students here on Outschool!
