This class is designed for nursery age, preschooler and kindergartners. As a full time preschool teacher I will be bringing aspects of a typical morning meeting into the online setting. Morning meetings are important for students because it teaches listening, communication and self help skills, as well as content material. Morning meetings are a place for students to learn kindergarten readiness skills including; days of the week, season, color, basic shapes, number recognition patterns and more. Students will learn through- books, songs and games. The student is not formally assessed on the material but it is my hope that they share the information with their parents. Monday Morning meetings will cover; days of the week, basic colors, counting 1-10 with 1:1 correspondence, story time (Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin and music time.
