Class experience
Students will learn about gratitude through teacher-guided discussion and interaction with other students. Each week will have an overarching topic or prompt related to gratitude. Some of these topics include: -What is Gratitude? -What is thankfulness, and how is it different from gratitude? -What is something you're thankful for this week? -Seeing the good in life -The glass is always half full The class will begin with introductions and a discussion about something we are grateful for...
Students will practice their writing skills through journaling on the topic of gratitude.
I have been making it a point recently to find gratitude in my daily life. Through this practice, I noticed that both myself and my family have become satisfied with the things we have, and not obsessed with the things we do not. It has allowed me to celebrate the small acts of kindness I see everyday.
Learners will need access to a word processor to complete homework.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
