Description

Class Experience

In this class, students will learn the life stages of a Monarch butterfly, how to tell Monarchs from similar species and determine their gender, and where and how to find Monarch eggs and caterpillars. They'll also learn how to provide habitat for these special, migrating butterflies, and discover why scientists find them so fascinating! 

No special materials are required for this class, but don't be surprised if your students want to change a thing or two in the garden afterwards!

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
