Modeling Clay has sparked creativity and imagination in children of all ages for years! Join this fun and interactive one time class and practice using fine motor skills while making modeling clay numbers. Students should come to class with several colors of modeling clay, play foam or dough. I will begin class with an introduction and then we will start rolling and making numbers. We will make several of the numbers from 0-9 but we probably won't have time to make them all. We will also name the colors. Students will take turns showing their numbers to the class. This fun and interactive class requires student participation by answering questions and showing their numbers. Students can bring other items to add to their creations, like feathers, eyes, beads, and pipe cleaners. The goal is to have fun!

In this class students will have fun making modeling clay numbers and showing the class. Students will practice taking turns, asking questions, and using their fine motor skills.

- Several colors of modeling clay, play foam or dough. - Number printout (optional). - Other items to add, like feathers, eyes, beads, or pipe cleaners (optional). - A pan or plate to help hold up your number to show the class.

Hello Outschool families! My name is Mrs. Christine and I want to welcome you to my classroom! I am so excited to be a part of your learner's experiences on Outschool and look forward to meeting them.
Here is a little about me:
I live in Florida (EST) and have a degree from the University of North Florida, a TESOL Certification, and I homeschooled our daughter for over 14 years.
I have taught many homeschool in-person classes in subjects like reading, writing, science, history, math, and art. I’ve taught children from elementary through high school.
I have also taught over 7,000 online ELA (English Language Arts) and ESL (English as a Second Language) courses over the last 7 years to students all over the world and I absolutely love it! I have taught students in 28 countries spread over 5 continents. My favorite things about teaching online are the relationships that I have been able to have with my students and their families and the improvements my students have been able to make.
I have been married for almost 25 years and we have one daughter in college and two cute miniature schnauzers. I spend a lot of my free time playing and snuggling with them. When we aren't playing with the pups, my family and I enjoy traveling.
