In this class, students will make a fun snack before we read the story Moana. We will make a snack that is Moana’s boat on the sea. For younger students, it is highly recommend that a parent helps with making the snack. Things may get messy! I will be making my snack with pudding, but if students don’t like pudding they can make jello the day before to have ready for the start of class. The items can be purchased at a store beforehand. If a student has any allergies, parents can provide alternatives as needed. While students enjoy their snack, I will do a reading of Moana. I hope to see you in class and make a yummy treat!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello!
My name is Kasi. I’m a mom of two boys ages 7 and 5 and I’m a teacher. I have been teaching for 10 years. I have taught ages 5 to 17 and I’m highly qualified to teach English and Math. I currently teach English as a Second Language to students in China as a VIPKID teacher and I absolutely love it! I love the connection I have with students over video chat. I feel like I learn just as much from the students and their life as they do from me! I am absolutely obsessed with all things Disney and I love to have many adventures exploring with my family near and far! I also really enjoy make up, doing DIY crafts around my home, decorating, and baking new recipes. Most of all, the one thing I want to bring to my class is my love to your student. Hope to see you in class!
