US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Have you ever wondered just how many M&M's are in one bag? Is there a color that appears more than the other? Then this is the one-time class for you. We will begin with learners creating a hypothesis of what they think will happen. We will be dissecting a bag of M&M and sorting them by color. We will count and create a bar graph coloring in our M&M's. Learners will discuss and compare their results to see if everyone has the same result. Learners will be able to eat their delicious experiment. For our class you will want to print out the graphing and sorting sheet and markers or crayons. Learners will also need a small bag of M&M's.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to create a hypothesis, count, sort, and graph by the end of this class.
