Class Experience
In this one time class, young artists will learn all about mixed media and how to create a winter snow scene, complete with snowman. We will answer the questions: What does Mixed Media mean? How does using different media (crayons, watercolors, poster paints) change the look of the art? We will explore using different media to create a mood, in this case, a cold winter's day. Artists will be encouraged to use their imaginations and add whatever details they would like to their picture. My...

Material List: White watercolor paper Assorted colorful crayons or oil pastels Watercolor paint Assorted brushes, clean water, paper towels for messes or spills Poster paints or acrylic paints (***must include white paint***) Q-tips to make white dots
