Mixed Media Art With Sketching & Coloring Step by Step Beginners to Intermediate

Welcome to a year-long mixed media painting class designed for beginners artists! Each week, we’ll dive into a new theme, using a mix of art materials like markers, colored pencils, watercolors, and oil pastels, paired with essential sketching and shading techniques. Flexibility is key—if you don’t have the exact materials, feel free to use any alternatives you have at home.

Goal of the Class:  
The primary goal of this class is to develop strong drawing skills and a solid understanding of color theory, empowering young artists to confidently express their creativity. By exploring various themes, students will learn how to combine different art techniques and materials to create vibrant, dynamic artworks. My aim to build both technical skills and creative confidence, laying a strong foundation for future artistic endeavors.

In each 55-minute session, I will guide you step by step through the creative process, adapting the lessons to match your skill level. You’ll follow along at your own pace, with plenty of room to express your unique artistic style.
