Class Experience

Art Piece: Funky Flamingo

Prior to the class starting, painters can a grab their favorite beverage to sip on throughout the session. Our paint session, will start off with a quick introduction for the first 10 minutes of the class to discuss the breakdown of the steps involved from beginning to finish, as well as the historic inspiration behind the whimsical styles and painting techniques used throughout the painting. We will then transition into using pencils to create the draft marks on each canvas as well as making the color mixtures needed. Let the painting begin!

Throughout the painting each student will have the opportunity to ask questions, suggestions, or ask for assistant with their painting. This is an open discussion session, so questions will be asked to gauge the students attention, and to help guide than with their creative nature as they make their painting their own.

These sessions are geared towards all basic levels. As long as students are open to experimenting with new techniques, open to making some beautiful mistakes, learning from them, and creating, you will enjoy the class.
