Description

Class Experience

In this 4-week flexible schedule course, students will learn the important biological processes of mitosis and meiosis. We will discuss why cells have to divide, then how as we learn mitosis and meiosis. Knowledge of these processes is useful to students interested in further study in biology, genetics, and medicine. I use engaging visuals and welcome all interaction and questions via the classroom discussion board. I believe that the curious mind is the most pliable.

Curriculum:

This class is taught in English.

Students will learn each step in the processes of Mitosis and Meiosis, as well as understand why cells divide.

While I have recently completed over eight university-level biology courses, I restrict my content to basic level science only. However, my background allows me to answer the difficult or complex questions that often arise.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
