Class Experience
Is your learner curious about Mars?! This class is just for them! This class is all about Mars and the Mars rover, Perseverance! Class starts promptly with introductions and an icebreaker. I really want learners to feel like part of a class. Next, we jump right in to what Mars looks like (by making observations), learning about what sounds might be like on Mars, what it would smell like, and how Mars would feel (without a spacesuit). We end class by taking a look at the newest rover...

I am a STEM teacher who teaches children of all ages both online and in person!
Learners are welcome to bring paper/pencils, sculpting material (think clay) or building bricks to design their own rover during class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
