Your mission, should you choose to accept it: Apply your knowledge of fractions, decimals & percents to thwart mastermind criminals seeking to create chaos and division around the globe. This game-based math camp will give students multiple opportunities to deepen their understanding of the relationship between fractions, decimals & percents. Fraction haters - welcome! This class will show you that they really aren't so bad - AND, that they are REAL WORLD MATH :) We begin with several...

I have been teaching late elementary/middle school math for 20 years. I have a passion for helping kids retain or regain their mathematical confidence. A strong number sense is best built in a safe environment that is fun and engaging. The foundational skills taught in 4th - 8th grades ARE the math skills people need to use in their everyday life and I am committed to helping kids recognize their capability and build on their curiosity to become STRONG MATH LEADERS :)
Notetaking sheets will be provided at the start of camp. Learners can print these off or take notes on notepaper.
Learner is given a written report at the end of the camp detailing growth, strengths and areas of need for continued focus through the Outschool classroom.
3 hours per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
